Taking action against climate change is all very well.

Joining forces to scale up is a whole lot better!

Setting the tone for the major annual trade fair for sustainable economy

Just a few days before Produrable, Europe's largest trade fair for players and solutions in favour of a sustainable economy, Urbanomy and Sweep are delighted to announce the signing of their partnership agreement.

This alliance sees EDF Group's strategic energy and climate consultancy joining forces with the leading name in data platforms applied to ESG (three letters standing for environmental, social and governance criteria, which help assess the sustainability of a company or area of activity).

The combined vision of Urbanomy and Sweep is quite simply to serve the decarbonisation of industrial and service companies in France, the UK and many other countries.

The powerful pairing of relevant advice and a cutting-edge platform

Benjamin Mousseau, Urbanomy's CEO and co-founder, explains that "at a time when regulatory changes mean that there is a growing need for reporting, the partnership between Urbanomy and Sweep is part of our desire to support our clients as closely as possible to their needs. The combination of consultancy and platforms provides companies with a complementary response and consolidates our long-term relationship with them."

"Key industries like the energy and real estate sectors have a critical role to play in accelerating global decarbonisation," adds Sweep CEO and co-founder Rachel Delacour. "By uniting expertise to scale climate action, our partnership helps businesses build strong decarbonisation strategies powered by Sweep’s incredible data insights."

Urbanomy and Sweep have already demonstrated just how effective their combination is

These two new partners have already shown the relevance of their joint work during a project - currently being finalised - to support sustainable purchasing for EDF Group's Procurement Department.

"EDF's Procurement chose an innovative approach by developing tools that calculate the real carbon impact of the purchased product rather than an estimate based solely on the supplier's carbon footprint," explains Olivier Brero, ACTIV & Responsible Procurement Group Manager. "To demonstrate the feasibility of the project, EDF teamed up with Urbanomy for their recognised expertise in decarbonisation as well as with Sweep for the adaptability and quality of their platform."
