Urbanomy, in partnership with EIFER, contributed to a German standardisation text (DIN SPEC), which provides a framework for the management of the districts of the future. This work supervised by DIN, the German Institute for Standardisation, is being carried out with a consortium of more than twenty various partners, mainly German.

This text will provide a frame of reference and specifications for all players in charge of developing new districts or regeneration projects, such as property developers and local authorities.

Through this project, Urbanomy contributed to enabling smart and sustainable management of districts. This is an example of how we can make an impact in Germany to push for a more integrated vision of all key urban aspects (energy, mobility, green spaces, etc.)
